     Life does not always move in a straight line. Ours didn’t. We’ve lost our footing, trusted the wrong voices, carried weight we didn’t know how to put down, and learned that surviving is not the same as living.

     But being down can change you without defining you. When we stop running from what brought us down, it can deepen us. Depth becomes perspective—and perspective helps us find the upside, not by pretending the world is easy, but by teaching us how to meet it with courage, clarity, and soul.
